Superalloy
We buy Inconel scrap and residual lots, including sheet, tube and bar offcuts, rejected components and sorted production or machining residues. The exact Inconel grade and level of sorting can matter commercially. For Benelux lots and international enquiries, send photos, estimated weight, grade or certificate information and origin for an initial price indication and assessment.

Lot forms
Inconel may arise as saw offcuts, sheet, tube, bar, rejected components or machining residues. Known origin and separated grades generally make the first assessment faster and more reliable.
Material & application
Inconel is not one uniform alloy but a trade name covering a family of nickel-based alloys within the broader nickel-alloy and superalloy category. Different grades can contain different proportions of nickel, chromium and additional alloying elements.
A grade stamp, material certificate, work order or traceable origin can therefore be highly valuable. Nickel alloys that look alike should not automatically be mixed together.
Identification
Not every nickel alloy is the same. A grade marking, material certificate or traceable origin makes assessment easier. XRF can provide indicative elemental composition for many alloys.
Where traceability has been lost, application, part number and indicative XRF analysis may help place the material within an alloy family. A handheld measurement is supporting evidence and is not automatically a certified material result.

A handheld XRF analyser can provide an indicative elemental composition for many metals and alloys. This supports sorting and commercial assessment; where certified laboratory analysis is required, we discuss this in advance.

Estimated weight and postcode help assess logistics.
Certificates, grade, origin and part numbers when available.
We advise what information, analysis or logistics are required.
Valuation
The exact grade and the condition of the material are central to valuation. We therefore do not publish one generic price for every Inconel lot.
The actual Inconel or nickel-alloy grade is a primary factor in assessment.
Certificates, markings and part numbers reduce uncertainty over material identity.
Solid sheet, tube and bar differ from fine machining residues.
Oil, coatings, weld deposits and foreign metals affect sorting.
Weight and continuity of the stream influence logistics and handling.
Current demand for the specific alloy contributes to the proposal.
Practical questions
No, but a known grade, certificate or marking can significantly speed up the first assessment.
Yes, they can be submitted. Tell us whether they are segregated and whether oil, coolant or other materials are present.
No. Inconel is a specific trade-name family; many other nickel alloys and superalloys have a similar appearance.
Depending on the lot and location, yes. Logistics can be arranged throughout the Benelux.
